چکیده

Abstract Background Triglyceride (TG) deposit cardiomyovasculopathy (TGCV) is a novel cardiovascular disorder and was recently encoded as an orphan disease in Europe (ORPHA code: 565612). Defective intracellular lipolysis results TG accumulation the myocardium coronary arteries TGCV. The myocardial washout rate (WR) of iodine-123-β-methyl-p-iodophenylpentadecanoic acid (BMIPP) essential indicator to evaluate vivo, decreased WR (<10%) BMIPP one items diagnostic criteria for Purpose To clarify clinical findings TGCV including comorbid conditions laboratory findings. Methods We enrolled 234 patients who underwent scintigraphy between September 2015 July 2019. distributions each comorbidity, cardiac functions were investigated. Results In total, 104 diagnosed with definitive −1.37±10.6%. had various conditions, artery (75%), diabetes mellitus (56%), heart failure (21%). Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) significantly lower than that non-TGCV (38.1±18.0% vs. 43.6±18.9%, p-value=0.026). Moreover, among those did not take lipid-lowering drugs, there no difference serum level (TGCV: n=44, 127±84.6 mg/dL, non-TGCV: n=66, 133±70.7 p-value=0.73). Conclusions showed multiple coexistence disease, mellitus, or LVEF. Serum different patients. affect directly, this result consistent pathophysiological hypothesis cytoplasm due lipase dysfunction. Quantitative proteomic analysis of cultured skin fibroblast cells derived from patients with triglyceride deposit cardiomyovasculopathy

BACKGROUND Triglyceride deposit cardiomyovasculopathy (TGCV) is a rare disease, characterized by the massive accumulation of triglyceride (TG) in multiple tissues, especially skeletal muscle, heart muscle and the coronary artery. TGCV is caused by mutation of adipose triglyceride lipase, which is an essential molecule for the hydrolysis of TG. TGCV is at high risk for skeletal myopathy and hear...

Peripheral leukocyte anomaly detected with routine automated hematology analyzer sensitive to adipose triglyceride lipase deficiency manifesting neutral lipid storage disease with myopathy/triglyceride deposit cardiomyovasculopathy

Adipose triglyceride lipase (ATGL) deficiency manifesting neutral lipid storage disease with myopathy/triglyceride deposit cardiomyovasculopathy presents distinct fat-containing vacuoles known as Jordans' anomaly in peripheral leucocytes. To develop an automatic notification system for Jordans' anomaly in ATGL-deficient patients, we analyzed circulatory leukocyte scattergrams on automated hemat...

C3 glomerulopathy: the genetic and clinical findings in dense deposit disease and C3 glomerulonephritis.

C3 glomerulopathy (C3G) defines a group of very rare renal diseases in which dysregulation of the alternative and terminal complement pathways plays a pivotal pathogenic role. Dysregulation is driven by genetic and/or acquired defects, with interindividual variability giving rise to two broad subtypes of C3G-dense deposit disease (DDD) and C3 glomerulonephritis (C3GN). Patient evaluation should...

Clinical, Histopathological and Immunofluorescent Findings of IgA Nephropathy

Background: IgA nephropathy, a prevalent disease in Asia, is considered the main cause of end stage renal disease among primary glomerular disease. Objective: To determine the frequency of different clinical, histopathological and immunofluorescent characteristics of IgA nephropathy. Methods: Renal biopsies of 376 patients were received for immunofluorescent and for histopathological studies. B...
